In anticipation of next week’s release of Mabel, Lil Silva has today released a new track off the EP, “Don’t You Love feat. BANKS,” which saw its first stream via VOGUE.

The new track highlights Lil Silva’s evocative, layered production and soulful, fluid vocals as they coalesce with BANKS’ own gorgeous voice and explore the interplaying harmonies. It joins previously released tracks off the EP, “Mabel” and “First Mark,” and highlights why the 24 year old from London is “one of the most exciting voices in British music today.”

On September 9th 2014, LA songstress Banks will release her debut album, Goddess, via Harvest Records. We’ve already heard some of its 18 tracks, including the Shlohmo-produced “Brain”, the Lil Silva & Jamie Woon produced “This Is What It Feels Like, the Sohn-produced “Waiting Game”, the powerful title track, and “Drowning”. Today, the Los Angeles songstress has shared “Beggin’ For Thread”, a more upbeat track, a bit different from what we’ve heard from her. Check it out below.

Lil Silva – Mabel EP

London producer Lil Silva will release his new EP, Mabel, on August 4th 2014, via True Panther (in US) and London’s Good Years imprint. The 5-track EP will feature the beatmaker’s own voice along with a pair of collaborations with LA vocalist Banks. Below, you can stream the first taste of the EP, the title track “Mabel”.
